Visu-Flex stackable audio-video cabinets are designed to grow as your multimedia collection grows. These cabinets are available in two drawer “starter” and “adder” modules. Starter units ship complete with a finished steel top. To expand the system, simply remove the finished top, place an “adder” unit on the top of the stack, and replace the top. It’s that simple! All units are compatible and securely connect together without the use of tools. Cabinets can be safely stacked up to three high. To accommodate today’s changing multimedia formats, these cabinets are equipped with adjustable drawer dividers (shown below) so that you can mix different media in the same cabinet, or even within the same drawer. The steel dividers can be repositioned in ¼” increments easily and without tools. If your filing requirements change in the future, the cabinet can be instantly reconfigured. No more obsolete cabinets! The CDV Series stackable cabinet is specifically designed to accommodate compact discs, VHS tapes, or any other multimedia up to 6” high. Each drawer holds 26 videos in 2 rows, 117 CDs in 3 rows, or 96 audiocassettes in 4 rows.

Powder Coat Finishes

Our paint is a baked powder coat finish of the highest quality. Powder coated surfaces provide unsurpassed resistance to scratches, chipping, fading and chemicals. In addition to superior durability, epoxy polyester hybrid powder coat finishes are completely inert and exhibit no off-gassing or chemical leaching, which could harm microfilm, magnetic and optical media, and other valuable archival materials. Application of powder coat finishes is a dry process requiring no solvents, and does not generate hazardous waste. Unlike wet painting processes, powder coating is environmentally friendly.

Textured Finishes

Colors are standard in a textured finish as shown. Textured finishes are great at hiding fingerprints, smudges, dirt and wear, while adding structure, interest and character in the commercial environment.

Custom Colors

Paint colors other than standard finishes are also available at an additional charge. For matching purposes, a color sample (preferably on steel) must be submitted with your order. Contact Customer Service for lead times and up-charges on custom colors.

Standard Powder Coat Finishes

The colors and textures represented on this chart are a good representation of the color and texture, and as accurate as this reproduction process allows. For critical matching, however, you may request an actual painted metal sample for your review and approval.
