Mahogany A tropical hardwood found primarily in Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia, mahogany is not an endangered species. We choose this wood when it's exquisite red-brown color is desired.
Walnut Grown from Vermont to Nebraska and from Georgia to Southern Texas, this beautiful American hardwood provides a rich dramatic appearance. The color ranges from a light gray-brown, to a darker purplish brown. Walnut is sometimes used for more formal room settings.
Oak Grown extensively east of the Great Plains in the United States, oak is distinguishable by it's open and bold grain pattern. Very attractive when finished naturally or stained to enhance the grain detail, oak is very strong and durable and is often used in contemporary room settings.
Cherry Grown in the Appalachian Mountains, this close grained, strong hardwood will, when finished naturally, start as a light straw color, as shown on our color panel, then age to a beautiful rich reddish-brown patina. Cherry also accepts paints and stains and is, therefore, used in our painted pieces
